Long week and no sleep!!!!

This past Friday it was time for the first portfolio. Computer portfolio was very interesting and I enjoyed the making of my first 3d movie. Even with almost no sleep for three days, I was still going just to see the end product of my design.

Btech is a lot of work but I will say it is one of the best years we have ever had in this courses. Working late nights in the in the labs never has n dull moment. There is always some one laughing.

This next two weeks we have to start and finish the design and DKD portfolios. What a hard next two week this is going to be for one and all.

night shift!!

This time of the night is all about my 3d computer and design. the 3d must be finished by sunday so i can start the rest of the back log.

what makes me mad is that the structures project just dissapeared and is no where to be found. tel me how it work? now all of use must reprint and hand it in again. what luck!!!!!

i mis my bed so much, just to put my head down and closing my eyes.

Time for PORTFOLIO

The classes have ended and every body knows that the portfolio is coming closer. Lucky for us our portfolio is only on the 24th of this month. The only problem is that there are two portfolios on one day. DSW and DKD on the same day en then computers on the 10^th. Thanks to Heather how has moved it with a few days.

From no to the 24^th, it is time to work all night and day, to get everything finished in time. It is not going to be fun but a man has got to do what a man has got to do!!!!!!!

DUD

DUD projects come on the wrong time in this course!!!!!!!!

Just had an all-night working session on the DUD project. This project is an analysis between the NMMU South Campus and the Boardwalk. The main points that had to been discussed are the spatial and the physical element of the 2 different types of architecture.

It seems to be a quick task, but in reality it took us a few hours to make any good progress on the assignment. Luckily we finished the analysis with time and maybe some sleep to spear.

I think that this subject must be introduced in to the first year because of the in-depth analysis and it changes the way we look at a site and the surrounding areas.

time is running out

The time is running out and portfolio is getting closer. The stress is running high and I’m trying to draw 24/7 but it is not always possible to stay awake for 3 days.

My design was given the go a head so now is on to working drawings. This is a big project and a nice challenge for the b-tech group. Just wish we had more time to work on it. Time fly’s by so quickly and you don’t realise that the time is creeping up slowly.

Something new

In computers we are doing 3Dmax. This is one awesome programme that is been used for 3d rendering animations.

I have just created my first 3d movie. It's not the best movie ever but it my first. we are going to have fun with the programme. We just need to get our designs sorted.
