Time

Sitting in bed with the flue is not a good feeling. i must be at class to work on my projects. It feels that time is running out and the work is getting more by the day. Tomorrow is a hand in for dkd.
This project we must pick a building in main street and clad it by using a new curtain wall cladding system. I being sick the most of the week, I did not get to go to one crit for it. Wish me good luck!!!!!!

Graduation

The big day is here and every one wants have a graduation party!  One small problem is that we have a hand in tomorrow for computers. Last night some of use worked right trough the night to tri and complete the project.

Well tonight is going to be the same thing. Coffee and red bull here we come again.

Is red bull bad for me?

Tomorrow a few of use is going away to relax and play some golf before the b tech tour to Knysna. Can not wait to get out of PE for n few days!!!!!

Almost graduation

This week all the b-tech and I are just thinking about the graduation that is in the 14^th of this month. We have worked hard for 3 years. Some took a bit longer that 3 years, but we made it.

This year must just pass so we can start working and start our life! The only problem is all the work and the time to do it in. the question is how many will pass.

Second year project

I am so glad the second year project is over!!!! I don’t like to tell people thing over and over.
They started of very slow and did not take the project seriously, but if I think back we were the same.
They had almost 2 weeks to finish the project, but you would not say that if you look at same of their drawing. The simple things they get wrong and after telling them what to change they still come back with some of the same mistakes over and over.
One of the biggest problems I seen was that they don’t work together in groups. I find it very important that the students must work together and communicate with each other.

It was a good assignment for the b-tech to experience to be in charge of a project. Like I said luckily it is over!!!!!

Computers first Max project

As we thought today was the day for our new computer project. It comes on a bad time because my design needs all my attention for the next few days before hand in. Luckily the room has been drawn up, so it only rendering in max.

Our first max rendering project was given to us for practising placing of lights in a room. We had 4 different lighting skills.

2nd year project

We all got assigned 5 second years to start a business with. The project requires that a full set of drawing must be finished by the 5th of April.

Starting of I had to organise a meeting with my 5 students. From the start things did not look good. Some of the student did not even pitch for the first meeting and that worries me a lot!!!

Today i had a meeting with them and lucky i got some positive response to the drawings that have been given to them. The next meeting is on Thursday and only time will tell what they will deliver.

THE PROJECT:

The DKD changed a bit but did not have a a lot of time to work on it with all the diffrent projects running. I managed get the computers and DKD finish on time. The best time to work is at varsity with a few people and we sit here though the night.
